Branding and customization

The Customize page (/admin/customization) is for owners only. Its sections are listed under Settings at the top, so you can jump to the one you need.

Login

• Go straight to SSO login skips the Frontdoor sign-in page: users go straight to Microsoft and then to Home.

Home

• Texts: the two lines of the hero title (Hero title, first line, Hero title, second line) and the Hero subtitle. You can enter them per language; leave a language empty to fall back to the default text.
• Company logo: upload, replace or remove the logo shown on Home (PNG, JPG, WEBP, GIF or SVG; images up to 2 MB, SVG up to 512 KB). Without a logo, Home keeps its text-only layout.
• Preview: check the final result right away.
• Show hero banner on Home: turn it off to hide the large banner and leave more room for apps.
• Default Home view on desktop: Card or Compact for the whole organization. Each user can still choose their own in their personal menu.

Apps

• Show ext / SSO badges on apps: turn it off for a cleaner grid without mode indicators on cards.
• Show Shared Cookie, Show Redirect SSO, Show Entra App: turn one off to hide that connection mode in the app editor. See Apps and connection modes.

Preferences

These are the defaults for users who have not set their own preference.

• Default language: the UI language for the whole web app (English or Italian).
• Default time zone: the time zone for the whole web app.
• Default theme: Light, Dark or Follow system preference. Users can still override it.
• 24-hour time format in menus and European date format in menus (day/month/year). They change only how times and dates are shown; stored data stays the same.

Mobile

• Default compact Home view on mobile: on phones the app list starts in compact mode and the toolbar hides the controls that are not needed there.
• Hide Home hero banner on mobile: leave more room for the catalog on phones.

Maintenance

• Storage snapshot: the space used by the database and the caches.
• Avatar cache: Clean avatar cache invalidates the avatars on the server and in the browser, for example after someone changes a Microsoft 365 photo.
• App icon cache: Clean icon cache removes only icon files no app uses. Open media library opens the media library.
• Database compaction: Compact database rebuilds the SQLite file and reclaims free space without deleting active data.

• Backup and restore: Open backup page opens Backup and restore.

Every change you save here is recorded in the audit log.
